History

  • Became a full member of the Canadian Military in 1985 as Infanteer with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry
  • Posted to Thunder Bay in 1992 as Training Non-Commissioned Officer (training coordinator/supervisor)
  • Posted to Canadian Forces School of Survival and Aero-Medical Training (CFSSAT) in 2002 as a Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) instructor

  • Basic and Advances SERE instructor at CFSSAT
  • Guest instructor for NATO winter survival course in Spatin, Norway, 2004
  • Presented at Civilian Air Med Evac and Transport Association (CAMATA) conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba, 2004 & 2005
  • Guest instructor at Alexander Ross Middle School in The Pas, Manitoba
  • Presented winter survival techniques at NATO flying training center in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan
